A
[/font] nnie came from the back of the club carrying two boxes of beer. She wobbled here and here until she finally got to the bar and slide it onto the counter. She sighed and then walked around to go behind the bar. Annie sat on the floor leaning against one of the cabinets. She pulled the calendar in her lap as she started with the schedule. She started making the schedule. she decided to put two waitresses on the same night twice in a week knowing that the two of them liked working together and normally worked well together.
Annie kept going back to the Thursday night. She couldn't find a bartender. She decided she could do it so she put her name down and then put Wyatt as manager. She smiled and started singing iron man by black sabbath. As she went on to work out the next week. Annie normally did the schedule's on one of the days when they were closed but she had been sick the week before. Annie had let the club slide some which she was regretting.
Annie was nodding as she kept singing as she moved on to doing the books for the shipments. She was about to order more olives when she heard someone come in the door. There was only one person it could be. She smiled as she heard Wyatt walking down the steps "Down here, Witch boy!" she yelled waving her hand so you could see it over the counter. As she kept filling out the order forms.

The day had started early for Wyatt, unfortunately with a fight with his siblings who could use the 'big' bathroom first. Playing the 'I'm the eldest'-card he had eventually managed to get the first use, when the water was still warm and the mirror visible despite the steam. After all, he was supposed to go to work today, earn some money. God knew they could use it; while he loved the manor, and living in it, the Woogy Man that had lived in he basement once wasn't the only problem it had. It was an old house, and every once in a while that showed. And even though his father was still a good handy man, Wyatt was too much of an independent figure to ask him for help every single time something started to leak. And he had to be honest; his siblings did their fair share of the work too... Although that didn't always go as easy and fluently as hoped.
Wyatt couldn't really help it; he had simply grown up fairly fast, and seemed to be very mature now. Responsibilities and a destiny weighed on his shoulders and one couldn't just dispel them for the sake of the day. It was the price he had to pay for his magic, and in all honesty he didn't mind. Well, at times he did, but those times were rare.
Glancing at his watch he cursed - time was slipping by faster than he had realized, and he had to hurry if he wanted to get at 'Underworld' within a reasonable margin of in time. For a moment he thought about orbing there, but with the sun outside it looked as a nice day. Chilly, but nice nevertheless, so he threw on a coat and grabbed his car keys. "I'm off to work, be back in a couple of hours. You know where to reach me," he yelled to his siblings before shutting the door behind him.
The familiar drive didn't took too long - he had a habit of driving a little too fast a little too often. With almost screeching tyres he parked at the deserted parking lot. At day the club was unimpressive, just an old building in a deserted area. At night, it was totally different. He knew that the club had earned its fame in a weird way, by the one night show of Dishwalla, who was under a demonic contract, but it had been a success since. Entering the building, he almost immediately heard Annie. Seeing the hand waving above the counter, he smiled. "Miss me, Annie?" he teasingly replied.

Annie was expecting to hear about how, once again, she didn't do her work in the office. Many of the employees teased and complained to her about how she didn't do her work where she should. Annie normally dismissed these comments. Annie didn't care what people thought of her. See, normally when people say that they don't really mean it, but in Annie's case, she really didn't care. Being an Ex-Demon she only cared about what the people who mattered thought of her. The charmed ones, Wyatt, his siblings and his cousins. Particularly Wyatt. "Oi!" she called and snapped her fingers, her hand still visible over the counter "Come apply your business school learning over here." she said finally taking her hand back to the books.
Annie often used Wyatt's school learning. Annie was god at getting the bands, the beer, the people, but she was useless when it came to the money stuff which was horrible when you owned a business. So Annie left most of the money stuff to Wyatt. She was happy that Wyatt was in school for business in stead of something useless like art or something. Annie often used his school learning to do books and things like that. As Wyatt come over to her she held out the books and gave him a pouting look "Annie lost!" she said in a sad childish voice. Annie often did this, acted like a child trying to be cute. Annie sighed and closed her eyes for a few seconds feeling her eyelids were like led or something. She opened them to look at Wyatt again, wondering what she did wrong.

A smile appeared on his face as Annie practically ordered him to come over and apply his knowledge of business on the books of the club - he might be 'only' the assistant-manager, and if necessary ready to jump in as bartender, while Annie was owner and manager, she often asked him to look at the books and make sure that everything concerning the money was correct. He didn't mind it, though. It felt good to use his knowledge every once in a while. Or more or less, every time he came in and Annie was struggling with the numbers. Which seemed to be pretty often. He didn't mind it though. Other than liking the responsibilities and the job, he had about the best boss in the world - she fully understood his 'family issues' that frequently called him away. Hell, she probably had been a 'family issue' in her 'bad days'.
"Ah, poor girl," he replied, giving her a quick stroke over her hair. He accepted the books, spreading the pieces of paper that he needed out on the counter, scanning them if he could see the mistake that would make missing a substantial amount of dollars disappear. He knew the finances of the club fairly well, after all. "You still can't find your way through this?" he asked without looking at Annie, letting one of his fingers slide by the series of numbers. Seeing nothing strange at the first glance, he shoved it together again. "Mind if I 'borrow' your office for this?" he asked. After all, for calculations and book-keeping computers and other electronical equipment could come in very useful. And they didn't exactly had the right things at the bar now.
Only now realizing he still wore his coat - that should explain why it felt hot inside, hotter than usual at least - he took it off and dropped in a nearby stool. He was wearing what he usually wore when he went to work - black button down shirt, white shirt underneath, black jeans. Easy, semi-professional, fitting for a club, and of course good looking. He wasn't vain, but he liked to look good. Just natural, wasn't it?
He let his eyes slide over what was visible of Annie. He liked her, maybe more than just a friend. He had never allowed himself to have a 'real' girlfriend before. Of course he had a few girls he had taken out every once in a while and had fun with, but he had always known that if someone was with him, she could be risking her life, simply because that would hurt Wyatt. Demons had no conscience and didn't mind killing a few innocent bystanders to reach their goal. That was the good thing about this particular ex-demon; she could stand up for herself and defend herself when she needed to. He would be willing to take the risk with her, one day. If she felt the same for him, of course.

Annie glared at him "Watch it, Witch boy, I will be glad to fire ball your butt back t Salem." she said after his comment about the office. "You know you can have the office. I don't use it and theres no windows!" she said jumping up to sit on the counter next to where he was standing. "I didn't become human so that I could sit in a stuffy, windowless and depressing room all my days. Besides" she said with a big smile "I keep getting distracted by the swirly chair!" She bounced a little as she grabbed a bowl of pretzels and started munching on them.
Annie had hired Wyatt not to long ago when he had come to find out what had happened to his mothers club, only to find she sold it to an ex-demon, which none of them knew until Annie revealed it to him, that is once she found out exactly who he was. Also it was useful having a member of staff who knew why she was disappearing into the back to kill a demon who had come to take her on or try to turn her back. Annie had a few friends who would love to see her a demon again only so they could kill her again and again. Though with her regeneration powers, she already did that.
Annie sighed as she looked at the boxes of beer "Oh! Did you call and confirm with Seether's manager for the 18th?" she asked him. She had asked him to do it last night, and though the eighteens was more than three weeks away, she wanted to be sure to book them fast so that no one else swooped in and did it. Annie was a personal fan of Seether and that was really the main reason she had sought them out when she heard they were going to be in town.

Again he smiled. Sending him back to Salem would be a disaster - whether she meant just the place, or place and time. He preferred to avoid the witch trials, but given his powers he'd come back from it unscathed. He wasn't just a powerful witch - he was one of the strongest known to the magical community. At times it was a burden, at times it was a blessing. "You think you could do that," he almost challenged Annie. Almost. There was enough trouble in his life as it was already, he didn't want to create more of a mess by challenging an ex-demon.
"Just being polite, boss-y" he answered, picking the papers up, but not moving already, wondering how many adults he knew with such a problem. A question easily answered: none. Swirly chairs weren't often a distraction for a regular human being. Of course, ex-demon wasn't regular human being, nor was he. Ah well, that was life. Though the No personal gain law was a bit annoying at times.
"Yeps, I called. They'll do a sound check on the sixteenth, and set up shop with one of us at three on the eighteenth," he told her, not needing the notes he had nevertheless made as he had made the call yesterday. His memory was pretty good.

Annie smiled at Wyatt. The two of them had become close, something that made Annie happy. She had no friends, let alone a witch one who trusted her. The Halliwell's and Mitchell's had not been to eager to welcome Annie once they found out what she had been. Though Annie knew that the Charmed Ones had dealt with an ex-demon in their time she was unaware they're little ones hadn't.
When Annie first met Wyatt she was so scared he might kill her that she kept rambling. Annie was terrible when it came to things like death...well death for her. She was perfectly happy, even giddy, to serve some death to demons and other evil beings but since being human she had lost a lot of her fire, her joy for the kill. And she did not mind at all!
Though she had lost a lot of her nerve and her impenetrable recklessness Annie got more than enough in return. She got feelings that made her feel like she wanted to be good. Yes, she could feel grief, sorrow, emptiness and pain but she in return she got joy, serenity, happiness so powerful it made her cry, she felt the wind she felt the sun she felt everything around her and all of it was beautiful and perfect to her. She had felt the touch she had only read about, see done to others and once experienced but did not have the feeling to enjoy it. She felt good inside and it was amazing to her.
Annie smiled at Wyatt. It was hard to make Annie do something other then smile now a days, her smile was an eternal smile of pure joy. "Boy!" Annie said reaching over to wrap her arms around Wyatt's chest. Arms and all "I know your only half angel but to be you'll always be a full angel!" she said her vice full of joy. Her favorite band was coming to her club. Annie let go of Wyatt as she munched on her pretzels.
